From the moment you book I’m on hand to help with planning your day and making time to get the photos you want, in a way that works for you. Then it’s time to relax knowing everything is taken care of. There is no need to feel rushed, I’m with you on the day from 3 hours before the ceremony until the dancing starts to get crazy in the evening. Four weeks after your wedding you’ll sit down together to relive your day. There’ll be moments that you can remember so clearly, some you’d almost forgotten and a few you weren’t even aware of. • A secure digital gallery of images ready for printing
Your images are delivered in a digital gallery which you are able to share however you would like. You are able download high resolution images suitable for printing directly from the gallery. • Photography and editing in my own natural style
Images are taken and edited in my own unique style. I produce natural looking photography focusing on moments throughout the day. I process in mostly colour with a selection of black and white work. To see a full sample gallery click here.

• Fine Art albums
I love albums and really think that your wedding photography service isn't complete until you hold that finished product in your hands. I'd love for all my clients to end up with an album. They can be added to your package at any time before or after your wedding.

I’ve been a wedding photographer for over 9 years and I’ve been lucky enough to win a number of awards for my photography.
But awards don’t make a great photographer. For me it’s about finding beauty in the moments of a wedding day. Moments that make up your story and should be celebrated. Let’s capture that story so you can celebrate it for the rest of your life.
I'm Amanda
I believe that life is a gift and should be celebrated. I do that by photographing moments of beauty in life that help me remember it all. And that’s what I love to do for my couples on their wedding day. I create a perfectly natural record of all the moments that make up your best day ever.
When I'm not at a wedding you'll find me tackling crazy renovation projects in our Victorian house. I live in Shropshire with my husband of 23 years, two teenagers and plenty of animals.

Frequently asked questions
Are you insured?
Yes. I have business and public liability insurance.
How long do we have to wait for our images?
Your online gallery should be available 4 weeks after the wedding.
Do we get to keep the copyright of the images?
No, as the photographer I create the images therefore the copyright stays with me. You do have reproduction rights allowing you to reproduce images however you would like but you are unable to sell your photographs. This is standard practice for most photographers.
What happens if I have to cancel my wedding?
The deposit is non-refundable unless I can rebook the date. The balance is due 30 days before the wedding so as long as the cancellation is before this no further monies will be due.
What happens if you are ill on my wedding day?
If it was impossible for me to work I would send another photographer in my place. I am part of a network of fellow wedding photographers who help each other out in these circumstances. I would always let you know of the situation as soon as possible.
Do you have a second shooter or assistant?
No, I have always been comfortable working by myself at weddings and find that just one photographer is less intrusive. I do have a second shooter I can call on if required. This is sometimes recommended for very big weddings or if you want groom preparations covered at a separate location. I am very happy to discuss this with you if it’s something you’re interested in.
What camera do you use?
I use a Canon 5d Mk3 with a range of prime lenses. I love the Mk3’s dual memory card slots which means that as soon as the picture is taken there are two copies. This helps insure against memory card failure. I also have a back up camera with me in case the first one should fail.
