A Little Afternoon Wedding at The Roebuck Inn, Mobberley

Alison and Chris wanted a relaxed family get together for their springtime wedding. They chose the Roebuck Inn Mobberley for all its quirky details and pretty outdoor ceremony space complete with potting shed and flock of white doves. They kept it simple with a civil ceremony in the marquee followed by drinks in the garden and then a meal in the main pub space. They filled the garden and tables with pots of homegrown daffodils and bright coloured flower arrangements by Living Colours. The table plan, numbers and signage were all handmade and Chris’ sister made the beautiful cake. It was a sweet and simple wedding filled with personal touches that were unique to this lovely couple.

Alison’s dress was from Along Came Eve in Chester and suited her perfectly. She got ready in one of the gorgeous rooms at the Roebuck. Seriously, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Cheshire its definitely worth checking these out! Alison then had a short walk with her Dad downstairs and out into the garden where her groom was waiting with their guests in the small marquee on the terrace.

Guests were entertained by Claire from Violin4Weddings who was amazing and even taught the children a few dance moves! The weather stayed dry and everyone was able to enjoy the flower filled garden for drinks before moving inside. The reception began with some wonderful speeches. Chris admitted to not realising they had booked their wedding on the same day as his parents but he was able to hand deliver a wedding anniversary card for the first time in his life! There were laughs and a few tears before everyone tucked into some delicious food. A totally perfect celebration for this lovely couple and I wish them lots of happiness for their bright future.
