Sammi and Matt had the most lovely laid back wedding at Adlington Hall last summer. They had both their ceremony and reception in the Hunting Lodge and their whole day had an intimate family feel to it. We had some beautiful weather and were able to capture a gorgeous sunset. Sammi looked completely stunning and Matt cleans up pretty nicely too!
Let me take you back to May 2016 and the beautiful sunny day that saw Ben and Vicky become husband and wife. We started out with preparations at Oddfellows in Chester. Gorgeous quirky hotel. Then we drove to St. Martins in Shropshire for their village church ceremony. After that it was over the border into Wales for celebrations at Tower Hill Barns. A perfect barn wedding venue.
Lee and Anna were married at St. Luke's Church in Winnington. Everyone just about squeezed into the church to hear them exchange vows and rings in a traditional service. They then took a bright yellow vintage Mustang to their reception at Owen House Wedding Barn in Mobberley.
Simon and Natalie are just the most awesome couple, crazy cat people yes, but awesome just the same! You can see their engagement shoot for the cat evidence here. Their wedding was held at the beautiful Combermere Abbey on a gorgeous spring day in April.
CJ and Jeremy are the cutest couple. They were married this June in Singapore but I caught up with them in Leeds for their engagement shoot back in March. They met at Leeds university where CJ studied law and Jeremy medicine. It seemed perfect to have their Leeds engagement shoot in the city that will always be special to them.
This was my first wedding of 2016 back in February. Beth and Rob were married at the lovely Yellow Broom restaurant in Twemlow, Cheshire. This wedding was recently featured on Brides Up North so I thought it was about time I got it posted to my blog too.
I can finally get around to sharing this absolutely beautiful wedding celebration from last year. You may remember Jennifer and Russell from their engagement session at Sefton Park. As you can see they are both completely gorgeous and taking their photographs was really a complete joy. I loved this wedding so much.
I'm feeling a little under the weather today and January can be such a dismal month. So I thought I would brighten up the internet with one of my most beautiful weddings from last year. Amy and Christoph were married at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. I love this venue for its light, bright elegant function rooms and its perfect location right on the Mall.
Ellie and Alan were married on the most glorious Thursday in June. The sun shone down on their outdoor ceremony and later in the afternoon their guests mingled on the terrace enjoying the warmth of the day. In a country where we cannot rely on the weather at all Ellie and Alan's wedding day turned out perfectly.
Kevin and Karen were married back in May at Stanneylands Hotel in Wilmslow. This couple really like a laugh and their wedding was so much fun. They went for an 'Only Fools and Horses' theme with masses of balloons to complete the look.
The following day they had their reception at the Yellow Broom in Twemlow, Cheshire. This meant they could relax, enjoy the party and spread the celebration over the weekend. I joined them at the Yellow Broom for their reception on a gloriously sunny spring day in April.
Before the 2015 wedding season gets going in earnest I have one more to share from 2014. Kate and Colin were married in October and the forecast was terrible. I packed towels and umbrellas and prepared to get wet. Thankfully, the weatherman was 100% wrong and it turned out to be the most glorious day. I love this couple and I loved every moment of this wedding. I'm also slightly in love with Lytham and that little wooden jetty by the windmill!
Mike and Anneka were married at St. John's Church in Sandbach. You will adore Anneka's short dress and Rachel Simpson shoes! These two were beyond happy to tie the knot and couldn't contain the biggest grins and even a bit of jumping up and down when they became husband wife.
Jo'Anna and Patrick were married on a bright and breezy day in August. The ceremony took place at the Holy Family Roman Catholic church in Widnes and then afterwards at Mottram Hall in Mottram St. Andrew, Cheshire.
