Sonya and Daniel gathered their friends and family from all over the world for a weekend long celebration of their marriage at Axnoller House in Dorset. Now that we sit here in a cold and wet December it’s hard to remember just how hot it was that weekend we made it into the World Cup semi-finals. Let me take you back to that Saturday in July and share this beautiful outdoor wedding complete with handmade lace, hundreds of paper lanterns and the coolest couple ever.
Eleanor and Toby had a super stylish wedding at the Yellow Broom in Cheshire. They were able to include their favourite four-footed friends to add even more personality to their day and make their photographer extra happy! What do dogs think of weddings I wonder?
A little peek at Miriam and Mitch's gorgeous laid-back wedding. They were married on Saturday at St. Peter's Elworth where Miriam's Dad is the vicar. He was able to walk his daughter down the aisle and perform the marriage service which was very special. They then went onto celebrate at Hartford Golf Club where the sun shone all afternoon.
Sonya and Daniel had the most beautifully relaxed day with family and friends gathered from around the world. Their gorgeous outdoor ceremony was followed by World Cup viewing in the screening tent and then a huge family feast interspersed with hilarious speeches.
A quick look at this gorgeous wedding at the Yellow Broom last weekend. I finally got to shoot a wedding at the Yellow Broom when the wisteria was in flower and one of the bridal party was the four-legged furry kind.
Abi and Callum had the most gorgeous day on Saturday. They were married at the beautiful St. Luke's Church in Endon then took their vintage car to the stunning Keele Hall. With endless grandeur and amazing grounds, Keele Hall is an amazing venue. Here is a little peek at their perfect day.
Alison and Chris wanted a relaxed family get together for their springtime Cheshire wedding. They chose the Roebuck Inn Mobberley for all its quirky details and pretty outdoor ceremony space complete with potting shed and flock of white doves. They kept it simple with a civil ceremony in the marquee followed by drinks in the garden and then a meal in the main pub space.
Well, last Saturday was incredible. Sarah and Chris were married at their family church in Altrincham and then headed to Styal Lodge for a fabulous reception. We had all the weather! One minute we were in a blizzard next it was a gorgeous spring day.
February can be a dreary month but mine was totally brightened by Rebecca and Andy's Valentine-themed Crewe Hall wedding. Red can be a difficult look to pull off for a wedding but this totally worked with the time of year, the grand venue and the way Becca kept everything else understated. It was my first wedding of 2018 and a fabulous way to start the year.
Sarah and Alex had an amazing wedding weekend at Auchen castle in Scotland. The perfect mix of grand old castle and modern comfort the castle was a perfect venue for this family celebration. With the cutest page boy ever, an owl and long windswept veil this wedding is worth a look.
Rachel and Adrian were married in a super sweet and simple ceremony at the Old Vicarage Hotel in Worfield near their home in Bridgnorth. It was a beautiful family occasion and as I have photographed the weddings of Rachel’s sister and her best friend Sam it really felt to me like a family reunion.
It’s 2017 roundup time as I wave goodbye to another awesome year filled with some absolutely gorgeous weddings that still surprise me in how unique they all are. My business continues to grow steadily and while sometimes I wish it would grow faster that steady pace allows me to continue to enjoy what I do and still have a life. As my children get older and need less from me I find myself wanting to shoot more and more and I can’t get enough weddings. So bring it on 2018!
Finally, I feel like its the right time to share this gorgeous wedding! Last December Lou and Luca had the most beautiful, sparkly wedding at the Oaktree of Peover. It was between Christmas and New Year and captured all the glitter and celebration of the season. Somehow when it got to January and the dullness of February it didn't seem right to go back to Christmas decorations. So I have waited almost a year but now is the perfect time for you to fall in love with this beautiful winter wedding.
