- CReative Wedding Photographer in Cheshire and the uk -
Hi, I’m Amanda and I feel very lucky to be a wedding photographer in Cheshire. So how are the wedding plans going? I’m sure you are finding that there is so much to choose from and so many decisions to be made. I’d like to help as much as I can but sadly I can’t choose your photographer for you. I can’t even say that I am perfect for you!
I can tell you that my brides and grooms love natural looking pictures. They are planning a day that centres around a somewhat traditional service and then focuses on having an amazing celebration with family and friends. They want wedding photography that captures the feelings of the day, from the excitement of getting ready, to the romance of becoming husband and wife through to the laughter and joy of the celebrations. They want some amazing portraits as bride and groom but don’t want to spend hours away from their guests and miss out on the party. In short, they want to be able to relax and enjoy their day.
Does that sound like you? Then I would invite you to take a look at the galleries to see if these are the sort of images you are looking for. As a photographer on a wedding day, I am looking for moments to create pictures that are natural, warm, happy and relaxed. I think they are also a little nostalgic with a feeling of timeless simplicity. Photographs that I hope will be enjoyed by generations.
For most of the day, I shoot in a reportage style. Mostly, people are unaware they are being photographed and I am shooting discreetly from a distance. For group shots, I organise people simply and efficiently with no need to boss people around or shout orders. Portraits are a relaxed, quiet moment for the bride and groom where I encourage you to interact with each other rather than smile for the camera.
For wedding photography, Cheshire is a wonderful place to be located. There are some stunning local venues and I love shooting in and around my own county. We are also blessed with some amazing cities in the Northwest of England. I am lucky enough to regularly shoot weddings in Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. I also travel all over the UK and this year I will be at weddings in both Scotland and Wales. In fact, nowhere is really too far. I love my work and if that involves a bit of travel too then so much the better. If you want me at your wedding in Timbuktu then drop me an email and I will see what I can do! That rhymes, sorry about that.
Last year I won a Wedisson and an international Wed Award. This year I have been featured in Boho Weddings, Pretty Pear Bride and Love My Dress. Most couples book around a year in advance and my diary is filling up for 2018. Please contact me as soon as possible to check if your date is free. I look forward to hearing from you x
